The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center in partnership with the newly established Genome Integrity Initiative at Columbia (GIIC) has launched a recruitment effort to strengthen basic and translational research in the area of genome integrity in cancer development and therapy. Candidates with research interests connecting cancer research with aging, stem cell biology, neuroscience, or with other diseases are also encouraged to apply.
We are inviting applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellence in research, a high level of productivity in their field, and the potential to secure external funding. They will be expected to develop an internationally-recognized and extramurally-funded research program.
