Molnlycke is now hiring a Technical Manager in our Brunswick, Maine Facility!We have several projects lined up for 2024 and the Technical Manager will play a crucial role. We're looking for someone to who will achieve strategic and annual goals, develop, and execute an Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance Strategy, and continuously improve production machinery and supporting systems .
What you’ll do:
Lead and coach engineering reports to cultivate a performance-driven culture.
Coordinate investment and development projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Ensure advanced maintenance functionality and develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
Lead the local technical support organization and provide support in problem situations.
Negotiate contracts with external maintenance firms to ensure optimal service at optimal cost. Control and optimize site budget spent and investment plans.
Analyze process performance trends to adapt predictive and preventative programs, achieve factory objectives, and satisfy customer needs.
Report on relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
Promote a safe and healthy environment for all employees and comply with applicable environmental, health and safety policies.
Implement best practices within job scope to improve Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), quality, and production.

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of relevant experience
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team.
Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing in a Medical device background.
Process technology understanding
Facilities management experience desirable
