Our Team:

The Team Leader of Club Channel is the primary strategic leader for the Club Channel. This role will lead our comprehensive business plan and inspire a dedicated team, along with agency support, representing the entire Sanofi portfolio. This role plays a direct and vital impact on the company’s future growth and success, as we continue to build innovation and scale for our portfolio while significantly broadening the awareness, trial potential, and efficiency for the overall business. Our sales team should deeply understand our brands and the consumers who use our brands. We will refer to retailers as “partners” – they are our partners in service of our consumers.

Main responsibilities:

The Team Leader for the Club Channel is a customer-facing role with the following main objectives:

Lead the Sanofi North America CHC strategy to develop Sanofi’s business portfolio with the Club Channel, including achieving budgeted sales revenue, innovation sales, category share, profitability, and supply chain goals. This involves leading a cross-functional team to provide total solutions capability for in-store and online success.

Own the establishment and execution of the overall vision and strategy to succeed with the Club Channel, collaborating to secure input, investment, and support from internal cross-functional partners.

Build and foster relationships with senior-level leadership at Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s, spanning merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and store operations. This includes creating and owning a Joint Value Creation plan and scorecard, encompassing mutual growth targets and strategic investment areas for Sanofi over a 3-year period.

Manage and oversee the Club Channel PL, including trade investment and overall operational execution considerations.

Lead and represent the singular voice of the Club Channel, advocating for Club customer expectations within internal functions and operations.

Develop robust category-level Joint Business Plans with corresponding scorecards that reflect mutually defined annual goals and achieve sales fundamental objectives such as distribution, shelf placement, pricing, and merchandising.

Lead the hiring, training, and development of top talent for Sanofi, fostering a highly collaborative and effective culture aligned with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.

Manage a high-functioning team to meet the needs of Costco, Sam’s, and BJ’s and Sanofi with an optimal and mutually agreed-upon ROI.

Define and address necessary business questions with support from data analytics and shopper/consumer insights, positioning Sanofi as a thought leader in the Health Care and Personal Care categories.

Partner closely with key leadership and contacts from Costco, Sam’s BJ’s, Sales Strategy for go-to-market planning, Distribution and Supply Chain for operational and fulfillment needs, RD for product and display design needs, and Marketing for brand strategy and innovation.

Lead agency partners and ensure their strengths are leveraged to achieve mutual KPIs.

About you

B.A. / B.S. degree required.

A strong leader with demonstrated track-record for exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a general management mindset and capabilities.

8 + years of proven delivery in CPG, preferably within OTC/Healthcare and Personal Care, both top and bottom-line results required. Excellent business acumen; proficient category segment knowledge.

3+ years Club experience preferred. Extensive macro U.S. trade channel experience to include shopper journeys, eComm, syndicated and shopper data. Proficient in all functional areas to include demand planning, business analysis, finance, shopper insights, etc.

Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams and managing significant volume of projects.

Ability to travel 25-40% of the time

The salary range for this position is $177,750 - $207,375. In addition to sales incentive (role may my eligible for long term incentive depending on level and performance); all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
