About Teaching Assistant IMN (30 hrs)

　　The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a Teaching Assistant.

　　ASSIGNMENT: Special Education; IMN; 30 hours per week

　　Job Qualifications

　　New York State Teaching Assistant Certification preferred. Exceptional candidates without certification will be considered for employment as a Substitute Teaching Assistant (for a maximum of 40 school days) until certification is obtained. Minimum requirements for certification include:

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　New York State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS) test

　　Completion of workshops in: Child Abuse Identification, School Violence, and Dignity for All Students (DASA)
