Position Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure and ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of our applications. The ideal candidate is a experienced professional with expertise in AWS, Windows, Linux, and a proven track record of implementing infrastructure automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Cloud Platform Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of AWS services to architect and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. Implement best practices for security, reliability, and performance on AWS. Operating System Proficiency: Manage and administer both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems in a timely manner. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, building, and deployment of applications. Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure the health and availability of CI/CD processes. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on project progress, issues, and solutions. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and participate in regular security audits. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to infrastructure and deployments.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture. Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation. Excellent scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
