Job Description

Work Model: Hybrid position with Thursdays onsite.
Hours: Typically M-F 7am-3:30pm (no overtime anticipated)
Communicates with suppliers on a day-to-day basis regarding schedulereleases.
Schedules requirements for purchased material such as economic orderquantities optimal inventory level delivery and material replenishment.
Responsible for the implementation of optimal logistics processes andthe material management systems within the unit and for the logisticperformance of the suppliers.
Provides support services to Supply Management Specialists.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Description of the major duties performed in this job.
Schedules and expedites the delivery of purchased materials to support aproduction plan including recommendations for premium logisticalternatives when appropriate.
Processes suppliers\' non-conformances and expedites corrective actions.
Works with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain an ongoingrelationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplierperformance; measures the performance of the supplier and definescorrective actions; may negotiate with suppliers to resolve short-termperformance problems.
Executes inventory plans using systems parameters and materialreplenishment strategies to achieve inventory/asset management andmaterial flow goals.
Drives continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supplybase using Achieving Excellence process and criteria. Executes thelogistics requirements for the supplier concerning containers packagingmethods and parameters; arranges agreements with the suppliers onappropriate logistics processes.
Works with Supply Management Specialist managing low-to-medium complexcommodities and supply base.
Resolves shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accuratepayments to suppliers.
Duties:
Worker will support the factory dock audit process of incoming materialsto confirm compliance of shipping labels, ASN and containerization tothe Client standard.
They will be responsible for verification of ASN and label data capturedby the factory auditor, contacting non-compliant suppliers to engagethem in the resolution process.
They will track progress metrics and provide weekly progress reports.
The worker will become a subject matter expert and provide guidance andtraining to factory auditors and stakeholders.
Requirements:
-MS Excel required for data entry and tracking
-Experience using Power BI is a plus
-Strong communication skills to call suppliers to troubleshoot andresolve any discrepancies. Identify gaps and work as a liaison toresolve items that are out of compliance
-A Supply Management background is highly desired
-Lifting no more than 26lbs (small totes)
-Candidates will need to be local to the Quad Cities area
This position will require some travel to other Quad City-basedfacilities in Moline, East Moline and Davenport using personal vehicle.Hybrid position with Thursdays onsite.
Interviews will be conducted onsite or via MS Teams. Business casualdres code (jeans are acceptable as long as they do not have holes orany tears).
