An Associate Researcher I position is currently available in the Tisch Cancer Institute, Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology. Under limited supervision, the incumbent will perform both in vitro and vivo experiments to evaluate the therapeutic effects of candidate drugs on depletion of MF HSCs/HPCs, as well as the effect of bone marrow and splenic microenvironmental cells on MPN hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells and in disease progression. The individual will perform cell isolation, cell culture (suspension and tri-cultivation systems), flow cytometry, and animal experiments (human cell transplantation, drug administration, and human cell engraftment analysis). The individual will report directly to Dr. Min Lu and collaborate with other postdoctoral fellows and students on other projects as directed by the PI.
