  About the role:

  Are you passion a strong cross-functional leader with experience optimizing business processes in supply chain on a global scale? If so, read more below!

  We will rely on the Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement strategy while delivering exceptional supply chain performance within AriaFiltra. Reporting to the Global Director, Operations and Supply Chain, the role’s purview includes strategic and tactical purchasing, outsourcing, materials management, demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics & transportation, and distribution & warehousing. You will be a key contributor in managing the overall business alongside the broader operations leadership team to ensure delivering benefits to both the top and bottom line of AriaFiltra.

  We are looking for someone to join us at our London, ON, or Guelph, ON, location and only one position is available. This person will be required to travel up to 50% of the time including internationally to other company locations with no restrictions.

  I n this role, you will:

  Manage full strategic and tactical responsibility for optimizing the performance of current supply chain, continually improving efficiency and performance to deliver strong business performance.

  Institute and measure key performance indicators; work cross-functionally to optimize processes and develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives against established performance goals across all areas of Supply Chain.

  Champion the use of best practice inclusive of the adoption and ongoing development of VES tools & techniques such as Daily Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Project Management, Problem Solving, Kaizens, etc.

  Lead the Aria Filtra Supply Chain teams to build, manage and sustain a robust Material Savings funnel, prioritizing where appropriate to meet or exceed the annual savings plan

  Utilize advanced negotiation concepts such as E-auctions to drive savings

  Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to mitigate the risk of disruptions throughout the supply chain. Lead the team in identifying risks and gaps across all commodity groups, definingand delivering initiatives to minimise exposure to risk associated with sole & single source supply, supplier stability, geopolitical issues etc.

  Drive structured transport and logistics initiatives to optimize OTD, inventory and cost across.

  ​ Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  Relevant Bachelor’s degree (BEng., BA, BComm) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Engineering or similar technical discipline

  Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within supply chain, operations, distribution, transportation and planning

  5 or more years of leadership experience managing teams, projects and resource allocation.

  Proven track record of leading a robust organization that delivered improvements in delivery, time, inventory, working capital, cost, and other key supply metrics.

  Demonstrated experience in a Custom Engineered Project based business.

  Demonstrated experience in a global supply chain environment and a “global mindset” to anticipate, understand and manage country and regional issues that impact the supply chain

  CSCP, CPIM, PMP, SCMP or CITT accreditation considered an asset
