　　Follow up with patients and insurance companies regarding outstanding payments and use practice management system to track account revisions

　　Manage incoming and outgoing calls regarding medical collections

　　Care for patient accounts and make necessary adjustments

　　Requirements - Strong understanding of explanation of benefits (EOBs)

　　High School diploma or equivalent required

　　Working knowledge of practice management software

　　Microsoft Office experience preferred

　　Minimum of 1 year of prior healthcare collections experience

　　Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Well-founded grasp of Collections

　　Comprehensive knowledge of medical billing

　　Foundational knowledge in Cash Collections

　　Command of medical billing - UB92

　　Proven knowledge of Collection Processes

　　General familiarity with Heavily-Outbound

　　Practical knowledge of Inbound Outbound Calls

　　Experience with Collection operations

　　Strong familiarity with Billing Collection
