Summary You will serve as a SUBSTANCE ABUSE CONTROL OFFICER in the 2D Marine Aircraft Wing of II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. Responsibilities You will maintain comprehensive records of all substance abuse incidents that occur within 2d MAW. You will be responsible for file management, updating web-based applications, reconciling databases and maintaining case files. You will assure appropriate handling of sensitive information. You will perform administrative duties, such as database management, preparation of statistical reports and other miscellaneous reports and documents. You will prepare routine and non-routine technical reports, PowerPoint slides, and formal correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing substance (i.e. alcohol and other drugs) prevention, use, and abuse information through education forums, training, and outreach activities.
