Job Summary:As Financial Analyst you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of all legal entity level accounting, statutory statements, balance sheet flux analysis, and month end close requirements.Responsibilities:Responsible for booking and recording North America (NA) monthly intercompany & reallocation fees & accrual journal entries within the corporate month end close guidelines.Responsible for NA Interiors & Global Interiors Head Office & Corporate profit centers monthly reconciliation, conducting current month vs. previous month flux analysis reports.Cooperate with external and internal (both local and Shanghai) auditor teams in addition to regular workload, supporting for any additional requests and follow-ups.Prepare and coordinate Balance Sheet Review for NA region, follow up on submission and open issues resolution.Responsible for Lease accounting review and reconciliation for NA region, submission of lease changes and follow up on open issues.Prepare and distribute weekly freight file reports to plant controllers, answering from different plants promptly.Responsibility for Property tax accounting and reconciliation, supporting entries and review, coordinate with tax team.Prepare and post month end entries, support plants with review of various accounting issues.HST/GST reconciliation and accounting entries for Canadian registrations.Supporting for any ad-hoc projects & reports & inquiries promptly from plant controllers and department managers.Understand, apply, and meet all function related IOS requirements.Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply, and meet all function related EHS requirements.Product Safety: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.Compliance: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related Compliance requirementsInformation Security: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or higher in Finance/Accounting0-2 years of experience in a finance department of a large companyExperience in financial reporting and consolidationKnowledge of financial systems: QAD and HFMExcellent Excel skills.Proficient in U.S. GAAPFamiliar with China GAAP is preferred.Bilingual/Trilingual is preferred.
