UPMC Health Plan is looking for an energetic and organized individual to fill an exciting opportunity as an Executive Assistant I! The role supports the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of UPMC Health Plan. In addition to the below responsibilities, due to the nature of this position, this person must remain professional and confidential at all times.
The position is in the US Steel building on the 55th floor and the hours for this role are very likely to be from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
Plans and coordinates conferences for department and department head
Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating the performance of employees
Analyzes complex information requests and determines complex trends
Develops reports for executive or department
Develops and sends correspondence on behalf of department and department head (i.e., draft and send meeting minutes, draft and send meeting events
General administrative responsibilities to include: answering and directing phone calls, organizing and filing, preparing meeting materials, ordering catered lunches, and other miscellaneous tasks
Maintain accurate and organized records
Assist and support the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of UPMC Health Plan, and President of Government Programs
Schedule/coordinate meetings based on calendar availability
Submit expenses for processing in accordance with UPMC policy
Prepare travel accommodations when needed
Daily tasks as requested
Receive, sort, and triage incoming mail and email.
Assist with various types of meetings including board meetings
Remain confidential at all times
Stellar organization and prioritization skills are a must
High school diploma or equivalent
Eight (8) years experience in an increasingly responsible administrative support role
Five (5+) years experience with support at the executive level
Demonstrates proficiency in core MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings-
Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations-
Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management
