JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Purpose Under the supervision ofthe lab PI, perform engineering-based research applicable tocardiovascular disease as part of educational and research experiencesassocated with the completion of an MS program. Primary Functions WithPI guidance as needed, lead the planning and conducting of researchstudy activities. Conduct research studies in accordance withinstitutional approvals and laboratory safety protocols. Accuratelycollect and enter research data into specified programs or databases.Participate in the statistical analysis and interpretation of researchfindings. Prepare typewritten scientific writings and presentationsrelated to research findings for local or national meetings and assisttin the creation and submission of manuscripts for peer reviewedpublication. Maintain a program timeline to ensure succesful completionof tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge - Skills -Abilities Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer servicestandards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, timemanagement, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Schedule: Casual Part-Time Role with expectations for coverageto meet business needs. Position Requirements: SpecificationsAppropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis. MinimumRequired Education: High school or equivalent. Preferred Education:Enrollment in a BS degree program within science, technology,engineering and/or math (STEM) emphasis. Minimum Required Experience: Noexperience required.
