　　Role Description

　　This is a full-time on-site role located in Fort Walden, FL for a Fiber Optic Splicer. The Fiber Optic Splicer will be responsible for splicing fiber optic cables and ensuring that all work is done safely, accurately, and efficiently. The Fiber Optic Splicer must be comfortable working outside, at heights, and in all weather conditions. They must be able to communicate effectively with the team and management. Travel may be required.

　　Expertise in fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshootingExperience with fusion splicing and mechanical splicingProficient in reading and interpreting fiber schematics, designs, and engineering plansMust be able to handle physically demanding work and work in outdoor and challenging environmentsMust be able to follow all safety regulations and proceduresExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentMinimum high school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and reliable transportationFiber optic certifications and training are a plusTravel maybe required[We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
