Job Description
Position Overview
As a Stakeholder Relations Manager, Renewable Development, you willsupport internal and external planning and communication to variousstakeholders (mainly project participating landowners, immediateneighbors, and local officials with jurisdiction over the project)leading up to and during the construction of utility-scale wind, solar,and energy storage projects. This includes stages from advanceddevelopment and permitting to finalized designs and continuing throughthe balance of construction.
The Stakeholder Relations Manager will be responsible for developing andimplementing Invenergy\'s engagement strategies during the developmentas well as throughout the construction phase, in an effort to build andmaintain community trust and improve the overall stakeholder experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with development, engineering, and project management toprepare site plans for landowner review, solicit feedback andresolve issues related to landowner comments, lead project widecommunications to stakeholders (participating landowners, localofficials, community at large, and similar activity) via monthlymeetings, and to help the project management team anticipate andproactively resolve issues that surface during the course ofconstruction.Development of a base stakeholder communication program to improvethe overall stakeholder experience understanding what has and willbe happening onsite, where to go when issues arise, and usheringproblems that arise during construction to mutually acceptablesolutions.Assist engineering, project management, and development team withsite layout, and micro-siting both the civil and electrical designof projects, and understanding farming impacts to the remainder ofleased ground outside the project fence line.Coordinate with construction site team to ensure constructionactivities conform with project design, specifications and schedule.Required Skills
Bachelor\'s Degree (preference for degrees in renewables,agribusiness, construction, or engineering).5+ years of relevant experience in agriculture, construction,development, or related experienceExcellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership and communicationskills which extend across numerous internal and externalstakeholdersStrong public speaking and personal skills.Demonstrated ability in leadership of multi-disciplined teams ofengineers and outside contractors.Thorough understanding and implementation of projects in accordancewith contract terms and conditions.Able to travel 25%-50% of the time.Preferred Skills
Master\'s Degree, especially if focused on renewables, agribusiness,engineering, or construction.Power industry, renewable energy industry experience preferred.Specific experience in wind and solar farm development a plus.Agricultural and/or construction field experience preferred.Benefits
