We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our PACU.

This position is a 0.75 FTE (6 shifts/ pay period), 10-hour shifts, Day/ Night, every 4th weekend and mandatory call.

*_RESPONSIBILITIES:*_Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

Protecting, promoting, and optimizing healthPreventing illness and injuryAlleviating suffering through the treatment of the human responsePartnering with the patient, their family and significant othersDocumenting interventions and an individualized plan of careMinimum Qualifications:

ACLS requiredPALS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire1 year of recent Adult ICU or PACU experienceGraduation from an accredited school of nursingPossession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of MinnesotaPreferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of ICU, ED, PACU experience preferredCertification in area of clinical specialtyBSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.Title: Staff Nurse - PACU
