BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

Generating workorders and Shipping customer orders

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, Count and record orders from customers

Prepare and ship correspondence accurately and timely using computers and UPS software

Follow purchase order instruction for shipping instruction

Box, wrap and tape packages for transportation

Train others as needed

Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School Graduate

Training or knowledge of basic computer skills

REQUIRED TRAINING FOR THE JOB:

8 weeks on-site job training with other Tru-Edge associate – work 100% checked

SAFETY TRAINING FOR THE JOB: (to be completed in the first 6 months)

General Safety Plan

Emergency Action Plan

Fire Safety Plan

SKILLS:

Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

Ability to operate a multi-line telephone

Ability to type and use work order computer software

Familiarity and experience with general office equipment and computers

Ability to count with accuracy and keep records

Ability to remain patient and calm under stress.

Ability to train others

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Stationed in shipping/receiving.

Occasional overtime hours required.

Attend to different task simultaneously

Work in a fast past environment

Work under deadlines
