Responsible for completing daily operations activities for First Western Bank and Trusts accounts to ensure the accuracy of records while adhering to the banks culture of excellence in customer service to its patrons.
Greet visitors and customers in a courteous manner and work with them on various account issuesAssist customers with general bookkeeping including but not limited to account transfers, stop payment requests, account closures and balancing issuesAnswer telephone inquiries from customers and internal staff regarding customer account transactionsResearch accounts as requested to verify transactions and provide documentationDistribute reports and notices from prior business dayPerform daily reconciliation of the Banks general ledger accounts and make corrections or adjustmentsPrepare electronic files to post and code ACH returns and corrections to the Federal ReserveAdminister debit card disputes including intake, application of provisional credit and performing write offsProcess overdraft accounts, apply fees and send customer notificationsProcess or return non-post itemsProcess chargebacks or redepositsClose overdrawn accounts and notify consumer reporting agency of bad accounts and report to collection agencyVerify after-hours voice access transfersBalance the Banks official checks, debit cards, credit cards, ATMs, and ZelleBalance Canadian checksReconcile teller/vault cash from prior dayCompile statements, check copies and deposit history documentation for subpoenasComplete paperwork for levies, garnishments, and verificationsAssist with processing check and account adjustmentsAssist with reviewing and auditing dormant and escheat accountsRefer escalated customer issues to management as necessaryOPERATIONS SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredAssociates degree in business-related field preferredOne year of banking, customer service or cashier related work experience preferredOPERATIONS SPECIALIST SKILLS/ABILITIES
