Preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation will be essential for this Staff Accountant role. The ideal candidate for this position can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting

　　Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions

　　Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP Requirements

　　Deep understanding of account reconciliation

　　Financial statement preparation experience required

　　Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics experience

　　Solid understanding of general ledger

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Experience with ERP systems

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
