Associate Attorney

Summary: A commercial litigation firm is seeking an attorney who can assist in ongoing matters involving their clients in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Job Duties:
Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses, briefs, motions, and contracts;
Research case law, statutes, codes, and regulations to evaluate cases, advocate for clients, and develop arguments;
Participate in hearings, arbitration, settlement conference, and conference calls assigned by senior attorneys;
Assist senior attorneys in preparation of pre-trial and trial litigation; and
Handle all communication with Chinese-speaking clients, including performing initial intake, meeting with them, providing case status updates, and drafting letters and emails to clients.
Minimum Requirements:
J.D.
PA Bar License
One year work experience in legal field
Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese
