Overview

　　ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for an Apprentice Engineer.

　　Under the direction of the Chief Engineer or their designee, the Apprentice Engineer is responsible for addressing trouble calls and performing associated maintenance and repair activities on equipment and basic and complex machines. The position assists engineers and technicians with advanced repairs. The role works under minimal supervision and some contact with external suppliers and customers. Responsible for cleaning and stocking supplies in all public areas inside and outside of assigned building, including restroom as needed. Respond to business management needs in a timely and effective manner.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Complete minor repairs and building improvements.

　　Prepare conference rooms before and after important meetings.

　　Clean all common room areas including the kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room.

　　When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor warning signs.

　　Monitor, clean and service washrooms.

　　Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises.

　　Remove litter and rubbish from main common rooms.

　　Help order supplies required for facility maintenance.
