　　Jackie Meza with Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for a Staff Accountant with experience and skill to join their team on a permanent basis. In this position, the Staff Accountant prepares journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also be responsible for various aspects of internal reporting throughout the monthly close. You will put your skills towards the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and look over schedules for the reporting processes. This role is very integrated as it plays a part in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. 　　Participate in various department-wide initiatives

　　In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting

　　Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Requirements - Knowledge of account reconciliation

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Principles

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

　　Experience with ERP systems

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to meet deadlines
