　　Robert Half is seeking candidates for a full-time Staff Accountant position, which will become a critical part of an innovative company. This position will challenge your skills as your juggle multiple components. If you can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation, you might be right for this Staff Accountant position. This role is for someone who wants to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. 　　Major responsibilities

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting

　　Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting

　　Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions

　　Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Requirements - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Excel Formulas experience desired

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Skilled with ERP systems
