Dematic Technical Communications and Training needs a Technical Writer and Trainer who can author technical documentation and use it to train our customers.
5+ years' experience with mechanical, controls, and software in the manufacturing/warehouse environment is required.
This is a remote position. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 40% within the United States during peak seasons.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 to $100,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role:Collaborate with teammates and subject matter experts to author technical documentation and training materials for Dematic customers.Travel to customer facilities to train them on warehouse safety, Dematic products, and standard operating procedures.What We Are Looking For:Willing to travel up to 40% within the United States during peak seasons.Experience leading group-oriented trainings in a classroom style setting.Experience producing technical training materials and documentation for warehouse automation. This position requires an emphasis on customer-focused operator instructions (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs]).Proficient with various software products used for authoring (e.g., MS Office products, Adobe Creative Suite, Component Content Management Systems [CCMS]) and ability to quickly learn new software.Proficient with basic web coding languages such as HTML and CSS.Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.BS/BA in a related discipline. Degree in Technical Writing, Training, or equivalent experience preferred.Ability to understand complex, technical information and communicate it in practical language.Ability to follow strict guidelines and apply standards, styles, and templates to ensure common documentation look and feel.Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, manage time, meet deadlines, and set priorities with minimal direction.Strong skills in English communication, both written and verbal, and process-detailed solid orientation are required.#LI-JR1
