We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team and work on highly complex software projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas for delivering enterprise products/solution for Imaging. As part of this dynamic and growing team, you will work closely with product teams, interacting with program stakeholders, and responsible for technical design and architecture of the product/solution for upcoming releases. You will also oversee key stages like overall planning, design & build, verification & validation, and deploy milestones to drive project delivery aligned with the overall program delivery for GE HealthCare’s PACS solution.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management and Solutions team.
Responsible for finalizing of scope for each release which includes requirements from Product Managers, Technical Debt, Usability, and security related features.
Review and/or analyse and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
Responsible for software architecture throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsible for Impact assessment, identifying cross-product dependencies and high-level design and Identify simulation and prototyping opportunities.
Provide technical guidance to the team, and proactively resolve impediments, dependencies, and perform effective risk mitigation.
Manage scope changes, risks & other non-standard events throughout project lifecycle.
Ensure strict compliance to GEHC’s quality management system (QMS) process/policies.
Foster innovation and operational performance in the deployment of new functionalities, services and technologies.
Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives.
Establish technical standard and drive engineering practices.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
15+ years of IT experience and 6+ years of experience as an Architect
Technical Expertise:
Windows based application development (executables files, dynamic linked libraries etc.)
Backend technologies: Java, Spring boot, SQL Server
UI technologies: Web UI (Angular)
Messaging technologies (event driven architecture) RabbitMQ
Cloud (AWS preferred, other are fine)
Containers & Orchestrations: Docker & Kubernetes
Desired Characteristics:
Proven experience as an Architect/LSD in developing software application from scratch
Adept in enterprise software architecture and technical design strategies
Hands-on development/automation experience for Java based enterprise applications.
Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
Business Acumen:
Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes
Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.
Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalog within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level.
Leadership:
Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization
Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
