This role will be part of the Enterprise Analytics Enablement team and will be instrumental in supporting the organization to achieve its five-year strategy. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-HybridCheck out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job EverACCOUNTABILITIES:Deliver ad-hoc requests from customers to provide insightful, accurate, and thought-provoking results.Provides data insights and compelling data visualizations via Looker to all areas of the Organization.Champions data quality and completeness related to NMDP products and services.Partners with the Data Governance Team to streamline processes and automate data management.Assists the development of definitions and has a deep understanding accuracy of organizational and vertical metrics.Responsible for Looker dashboard maintenance, report automation, annual performance scorecards and data quality checksPartners with Business Intelligence team on requirements and user acceptance testing for new data sets and fieldsSupports business analysts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Computer skills including experience with Microsoft office software (specifically Excel)Data Quality skills in data profiling, data discovery, cost-benefit analysis/ROI, and root cause analysis.Analytics/metric concepts, metric visualization and understanding of metric insightsData systems (Sales Force, Oracle databases, other database systems), data quality approaches and data aggregation/manipulation tools.Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or LookerAbility to:Improve the accuracy, usability, and effectiveness of NMDP data by working cross-functionally with teams that manage upstream data and with data engineers to implement changesBe a strong data steward for NMDP operational dataDisplay data visually, creating powerful presentations and stories which effectively quantify and justify value created to both analytical and non-analytical audiencesLead and speak courageously, challenge ideas and propose alternativesGrasp the diversity of our systems and network and the ability to make recommendations and implement solutionsStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsWell-developed interpersonal skills dealing with people of different cultures and stylesAdvanced communication skills to include writing and oral abilities to connect with a wide range of peopleDemonstrate excellent analytical, problem solving with a strong customer focusWork on multiple assignments simultaneouslyWork and deliver under tight timeframesWork on complex projects with multiple stakeholdersEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in health care, finance, economics, math/statistics, business analytics or computer science.
