The Sr IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administration and support of infrastructure implementations. Provides direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, design, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to infrastructure / information systems, software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support testing and production environments. A Day in the Life: Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework. Developing, designing, and implementing network roadmap, architecture, standards, and governance Develop and document processes/tools/technology to automate the network and implement network as a code Evaluate and recommend purchases of network technology solutions. Solve a wide range of complex problems. SME and point of escalation, provide guidance to team and the managed service provider Assist the Information Security Team in resolving vulnerabilities found on the network, through policies, network segmentation or standard upgrades. Oversee the maintenance of the entire network, including patches, vulnerabilities and life cycling old hardware Design and Develop implantation plans for new network appliances/best practices/frameworks. These must be scalable, reliable, secure and cost effective. Participate in on-call duties on a weekly rotational basis.
