We are looking for a Sr IAM Engineerwithin Northwestern Mutual\' s Identity and Access Management (IAM). Youwill be looked upon as a leader on the team and will guide the team onstandard processes, keeping up with industry trends and ensuring ourtechnology platform can meet the needs of our people and processdemands. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Lead the design,development, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, includingaccess provisioning, identity lifecycle management, and role-basedaccess control. Works with minimal supervision on large, complex IAMprojects; often providing direction to others on the team. Is a leaderwithin the IAM Team with the expectation to guide and mentor more juniormembers. This includes overseeing the work performed by juniorengineers, mentoring their technical educational activities, freelysharing knowledge and testing techniques. Contributes to the innovationof software development within IAM domain. Consults on right-sizingdecisions, software solutions, and services. Recognized as having expertknowledge within the applicable IAM Domain Accountable for building,managing, and maintaining Identity and Access related security tools andthe infrastructure required to support them. Focus on designing andimplementing automation to aid the team in creating efficiencies.Accountable for working with select team members to track, monitor, andreport testing results in a meaningful way so that risk-based securitymetrics are delivered to the enterprise. What this role needs: Bachelor\'s degree inCyber Security, Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent workexperience in the IT field, with at least a portion of that time inSecurity related position 4-5 years of professional experience requiredExperience with engineering best practices to include analyzing,designing, developing, and deploying and supporting software solutionsand/or infrastructure implementations/upgrades. Proven experience as aSailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer, with a strong understanding of IAMconcepts, protocols, and standards. Proficiency in Java programming andscripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for custom developmentand automation. Experience working with web technologies, databases, andoperating systems relevant to SailPoint IdentityIQ. Strong problemsolving skills. Strong documentation, testing and automation skills.Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set ofrequirements. Ability to explain technical solutions to technical teamsand non-technical teams. Strong ability to align and mature to securitypractices. Strong ability to align technical needs to business...
