About Sr. Financial Analyst

Description

Our client, a dynamic software/SaaS firm, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. The chosen candidate is expected to provide substantive contributions to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes with an emphasis on detail-orientated financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to detailed financial analyses and reporting, ensuring the delivery of insightful and actionable data to Management.

Offer substantive support in the financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and operating plan processes.

Develop, maintain, and review complex financial models, improving overall financial forecasting accuracy.

Ensure comprehensive compliance with US GAAP across all areas of financial reporting and accounting.

Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, guaranteeing the accuracy of financial data and reports.

Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, while driving a focus on Financial Reporting Accruals.

Be the primary liaison for auditors, preparing and reviewing audit schedules and actively coordinating with them.

Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required by Management.

Requirements

Must have at least 3 years of experience in financially focused roles.

Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, ideally with verification of skills through an Excel Boot Camp or similar advanced training.

Understand and apply the principles of Financial Reporting Accruals according to US GAAP.

The prior experience of working in a SaaS-based business environment is essential.

Demonstrable ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced setting, maintaining a focus on continual process improvement.

Strong analytical acumen with an ability to solve complex problems strategically.

Nice to have:

Experience in Public Accounting is highly valued.

Ideally, the candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in their roles.
