DescriptionActivity Assistant:Setting: Skilled nursingStatus: Part-TimeWage: $19/hr DOELocation: Richmond Beach Rehab - 19235 15th Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98177The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your superiors.Responsibilities:Set up, implement, and clean up resident group and individual activitiesCoordinate with other departments as necessary and in conjunction with resident care plansEnsure that all charted activity progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and indicate the resident's response to the servicePerform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, report, etc., and submitting such to the Activity Director as requiredSupervise scheduled resident smoking breaks outdoors to ensure the safety of residentsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid Class C driver's licenseAble to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageAble to self-direct, switch directions, and complete tasks despite frequent interruptionsAble to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionAble to sit, stand, and walk frequently throughout the work dayPossess patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as being willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioningAvamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-VerifyAvamere Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer
