Microsoft Azure and Security and AI solutions are ever-expanding cloud services to help organizations meet their business challenges. Demand for these cloud services is growing, as customers are building, managing, and deploying applications on a massive global network using their favorite tools and frameworks. As this demand grows, so does the need for professionals with the skills to architect and implement solutions successfully. The tech talent gap is already identified by our customers as the main barrier to their massive cloud adoption to support their Digital Transformation. This topic is addressed at exec levels as it is a strategic challenge for those large organizations.
To meet this need, we are looking for talented professionals with a passion for learning, a strong customer-facing aptitude, and the excitement to collaborate across teams.
This is a highly visible position that will have significant impact. This role works directly with our Enterprise/Public Sector, Specialists and Customer Success teams to help create a skilling strategy and integrated training plans for the most important projects/opportunities for a portfolio of customers. You will collaborate with customers to develop and lead the execution of skilling plans. As part of this, you will be able to identify and recommend the best learning and development option for our customers based on the evolution of their cloud-based journey and leveraging the whole OneMS learning portfolio including Enterprise Skills Initiative, Unified Support, Training Services Partners, CMO Skilling Events and more).
The ideal candidate will have a strong program management background, experience working directly with customers including at exec level, excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate across teams in order to drive skilling, and clearly communicate the value of our unique skilling program to customers.

Responsibilities
Identify with Microsoft account teams to identify and qualify the most critical RFPs and projects that will require skilling for success.
Work closely with customers to define those skilling needs and build extensive training proposals/plans that will help them drive the adoption of Azure, Security and all AI services
Build trusted advisor relationships with customers as a thought leader for Skills and capability building.
Build and maintain a pipeline of targeted training opportunities with aligned skilling engagement plans.
Monitor and report on assigned territory success and KPIs.
Lead a territory team POD inclusive of an Inside Training Program Manager (iTPM) and a Training Program Co-Ordinator (TPC) to collectively address training opportunity pipeline
Prepare and deliver business reviews to Area Learning Lead and senior management
Provide thought leadership and consultancy around the importance of building technical capabilities with customers, and the best approach to do so both at a project level and with organisation wide consideration
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to translate ideas into clear, high impact guidance for diverse technical and business audiences
Collaborate closely with area segment teams to design and build area wide scalable skilling motions for customers.
Qualifications
6+ of technical or pre-sales or consulting or program management or professional training experience preferably in the IT industry
Experience in technology skill development desired
Proven large scale program management expertise with specific experience driving standardised programs
Consulting and Technical acumen desired
Experience working with partners or customers, with the ability to translate that experience into strategic insights that influence development and delivery of future technology training programs
Experience co-creating with and influencing Corporate/Global Program teams
Excellent communications skills and executive presence; ability to represent Microsoft and be inspirational and influential in evangelising a culture of learning
Strong organisational agility and ability to collaborate across groups
Strong ability to manage multiple projects or engagements at one time
Data and analytics skills desired
Experience in managing virtual teams with no direct reporting lines
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Microsoft certification strongly preferred
Ability to travel 10-20% of time
