Description

　　Robert Half has a terrific opportunity for a permanent Staff Accountant to join an innovative, growing company in the Fairfield, California area. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance. This position offers you great long-term potential and a strong compensation and benefits package. We are looking for a candidate that possess excellent Excel skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the successful growth of the firm.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

　　Partake in various department-wide initiatives

　　Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

　　Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditor

　　Requirements

　　BA/BS in Accounting

　　Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

　　GAAP and IFRS Accounting experience

　　General familiarity with SYSPRO is a plus, but we will train you

　　Adeptness in Microsoft Excel - advanced level required

　　Sound written and verbal communication skills

　　3+ years of overall general accounting experience

　　Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

　　Able to manage time well
