　　6.75 hr/day, 8:50 am-4:10 pm; 8:50 am-3:15 pm Wednesday.

　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

　　Assists with the general supervision of student activities as assigned.

　　Assists with basic functional skills as needed.

　　Take attendance, type reports, perform other clerical duties as assigned.

　　Observe and record student progress monitoring once trained.

　　Supervise guided or independent practice in the classroom or school community.

　　Assists with maintaining an orderly and structured room for maximum learning.

　　Provides individual assistance to students.

　　Supervise small groups of students as needed.

　　Circulate, answering questions, re-teach, reinforce concepts and provide assistance as requested.

　　Maintains open communication with teacher/administrator.

　　Implements lesson plans as directed by the teacher.

　　Assists teachers in de-escalation of student behaviors.

　　Carries out positive behavior management plans across multiple settings.

　　Model, prompt and reinforce appropriate social behaviors throughout day.

　　Provides frequent, positive feedback for students.

　　Assists teachers in modeling appropriate social skills and behaviors in multiple settings.

　　Supervise or assist students at recess.

　　Facilitate appropriate social interactions among students.

　　Assist arriving and departing students, by meeting busses or supervising entries, exits and grounds as needed.

　　Assist teachers with communication with families as directed.

　　Complete all training as required.

　　Perform other duties as assigned.
