SNAP Ed Educator - Mt. Morris, NY
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (SNAP-Ed) Nutritionist will primarily be responsible for the delivery of established SNAP-Ed public education programming to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among families and individuals encompassing all age groups throughout Livingston County.
This is a 1.0 FTE grant-funded position.

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree. Associate degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Community and Behavioral Health, Health Education and/or Public Health, Nursing, or related field plus 2 years transferable program/functional experience may substitute.-Experience relevant to the role of the position.-Ability to clearly communicate (speak, read, and write proficiently) in English.-Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.-Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.-Ability and willingness to work with diverse audiences and maintain cultural sensitivity.-Experience with windows-based software including use of the internet and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to host meetings or classes via Zoom.-Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and tactfully through verbal, written and electronic methods.

Position Details
This is a full time (37.5 h/week) non-exempt position. Compensation paid at the rate of $24.30 - $26.71 per hour. Excellent benefits, based on eligibility
