　　Director of Application Operations

　　What does a successful Director of Application Operations do at Fiserv?

　　As the Director of Application Operations in Production Assurance, you will be a technology management professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will be the single point of contact for senior leadership owning your platforms as well as have the opportunity to work with the best talent in the industry while providing production support to meet our clients’ business needs. 　　What you will do:

　　Drive production management activities such as incident change and problem management as well as lead various teams for metrics-based tracking, planning, risk & mitigation, and certification support for multiple top clients

　　Responsible for implementation plan reviews, change approvals in the interest of change success and hygiene along with improving resiliency and availability for your platforms

　　Manage multiple production assurance teams and own production run books, change registers, automations, improvements, and perform impact/root cause analysis for production issues

　　Serve as the technical mentor and lead to other team members

　　What you will need to have:

　　Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

　　9+ years of experience in Unix, Oracle, Scheduling tools and Java.

　　9+ plus years of experience in Web Sphere Application Server, Web Logic, Tomcat, JBoss, Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, IIS, Apache.

　　9+ years of experience in production management leadership, application/platform monitoring.

　　Hands on experience with incident/change/problem management and ticketing tools like Service Now, Remedy, CA Service Desk etc.

　　What would be great to have:

　　Proficient in versioning control tools like MS Visual Source Safe (VSS), Git, bitbucket.

　　Expertise in Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes will be added advantage.

　　Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

　　Strong articulation and communication skills

　　Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

　　Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery environment.

　　Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and Moog Soft will be preferred.

　　This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
