POSITION SUMMARY: The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management of identified community residential service location(s), including the orientation and supervision of all assigned staff, medications oversight, medical appointments, food shopping/petty cash/menu implementation, fire drills, room care, outcomes implementation and documentation, physical site maintenance and vehicle issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Supervise and provide on-going review of job performance of LSA staff* Conduct staff counseling/disciplinary actions appropriately* Hold regular staff meetings and train staff, including providing site orientations* Comply with budgetary constraints* Secure all in-house funds and budget funds in accordance with established program guidelines* Work cooperatively with Scheduling, Training and Recruitment Supervisors for staffing oversight* Act as liaison to the community and the families of residents* Build and maintain a team of staff focused on Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals, program structure and client rights through ongoing support, individual supervision and monthly staff meetings* Meet with teams, staff, etc. when necessary, to review and discuss services and expectations* Work with other members of the management team to maximize overall efficient and effective operations of the site* Participate in the development and implementation of the ISP* Perform all duties in an independent manner with little need for direct supervision* Maintain compliance with all applicable licensure, certification and other standards regarding staffing, physical site, and vehicle issues* Direct and oversee LSA staff in the following to ensure:o Completion of medication administration and documentationo Menu planning with appropriate food shoppingo Effective utilization of petty casho Compliance with purchasing all four food groups and following the established menuso Laundering and upkeep of individuals' clothing and inventorieso Proper utilization of Elwyn propertyo Completion of fire drillso Utilization and maintenance of adaptive equipmento Planning and execution of community outingso Implementation of specific basic and individual outcomes and care planso Completion of room care/chores and other aspects of consumer health and safetyo Scheduling of, follow through for and transportation to medical appointments* Complete audits of physical site cleanliness, vehicle cleanliness and performance, documentation, etc.; delegate corrective action plan completion and follow up with staff accordingly* Monitor and facilitate all needs for maintenance and repairs of site and vehicle(s)DIRECT AND INDIRECT REPORTS: Direct reports are Life Skills Associates (LSAs)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilitiesTwo (2) years of previous experience in residential programsSupervisory and/or management experience preferredexperience with Microsoft Word and Excel helpfulAbility to effectively communicate both in writing and verballyAbility to request, accept and utilize feedback and training appropriatelyAbility to provide effective feedback, train, and delegate job assignmentsAbility to assess and appropriately and timely address job performanceAbility to independently problem-solveAbility to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) according to nationally accepted standards (will train)Valid driver's license in state of residence and good driving recor
