Description:
Responsible for all aspects of CCA design including component selection, circuit design, schematic entry, symbol / geometry generation, constraint driven layout using auto-routing, post route analysis & tailoring (signal integrity), and ultimately board checkout. Typical designs require 10 – 20 layers, micro / blind via’s and fine pitch / ultra-fine pitch BGA components (both sides) with toggle rates in the 10GHz range and higher. Mentor / PADS experience preferred.
Also responsible for CCA prototype build – managing BoM / PL’s, component orders, PWB orders and delivery along with subcontractor management of component installation houses and sub-assembly suppliers.
FPGA design experience (Xilinx Vitis preferred) using either Verilog / VHDL / Vitis GUI hosting on Kintex thru Zynq product lines. Specific experience with SERDES and high-speed digital protocols including HDMI / DP and Ethernet.
