Summary This position serves as an Electronic Digital Computer Mechanic in the Electronics Section of Facilities Management Service (FMS) Line of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). Qualifications PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK CONDITIONS: Work requires considerable standing, stooping and bending; and working on ladders and scaffolds requiring overhead stretching; or in numerous cramped and awkward positions. Nailing and using other hand tools requires considerable, exhausting movements. The work involves lifting and carrying items weighing up to 90 pounds. The Electronics Mechanic will work inside and outside under inclement weather conditions. Safety gear must be worn because of prevailing hazards.
