Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker

Job Description

A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials from trucks, breaking down boxes, packaging items for shipment, using order pickers and RF scanners to fulfill orders, assisting warehouse supervisors as needed, and picking orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brea, California.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually high due to forklifts running through the facility. The position requires mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Receiving 1st Shift: 5am-1:30pm M-F. Shipping 1st Shift: 5:30am-2pm M-F. Dress code includes plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes.
