Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is seeking a talented Service Management Developer to play a pivotal role in our team. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your expertise in developing solutions using ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing solutions using ServiceNow as the framework
Understand the system scope and objectives
Follows detailed specifications for application builds
Participates in grooming and US creation
Implements User Stories
Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation
Technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming
Understands the business value or function for which the application is designed
Instructing, directing, and checking the work of other technical team members
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or similar experience
1+ years of development experience in the ServiceNow platform (in Rome or newer versions)
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in creating workflows in Flow Designer for catalog items and automation efforts
Working knowledge of TSM & FSM modules
Experience in Portal development
Understanding of REST APIs and credential management
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform components, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
Experience with ServiceNow development tools such as Workflow Editor, UI Policy, Business Rules, and Client Scripts
Knowledge of ServiceNow APIs and integration methods (REST, SOAP, JSON, etc.)
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, system design documents, and test plans
Experience with programming languages and databases including J2EE, Scripting, JSON, SQL
Experience building scoped applications
Preferred Skills:
Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
Experience integrating ServiceNow with an API-led Integration Platform
Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, roles, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience is a plus
Experience with rebuilding and refactoring legacy applications in ServiceNow a plus
Experience conducting ServiceNow instance upgrades
ServiceNow Developer Certification is preferred
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $69,700.00/Year - $94,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
