Description:

　　Seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer. Will start out assigned to a 6-12 month project. Significant chance to become either long term employee. Requiring 10+ years of professional experience, background in PCB design and FPGA.

　　System level experience - Not just one subsystem like printed circuit board (PCB) design

　　Experience designing and layout multiple PCBs - mixed signal board level circuit design

　　Some experience with EMC testing (Examples are radiated emissions, conducted emissions, radiated immunity, conducted immunity)

　　Technical judgement on complex scope items and ability to communicate need

　　Troubleshooting complex issues and defining a series of steps to mitigate

　　Ability to take general requirements convert to specific requirements execute against those requirements and pivot when team needs. Result in a good solution.

　　History of effective collaboration with other engineering disciplines

　　NICE TO HAVE: should have at least two of the following skills (more is better)

　　FPGA Firmware (example Verilog and VHDL)

　　Analog design and modeling (SPICE post college)

　　RF design and modeling

　　Thermal modeling beyond case-junction temperature

　　Panel Design or Box Build experience (incorporates for example: safety controller, discrete wiring, motor amplifier, cables, terminal blocks, contactors and/or)

　　AC Entry design also known as Power Distribution Unit (distribute AC)

　　Test definition to either share or self-execute

　　Mentorship of exceptional up and coming talent

　　Familiarity with industrial tool standards

　　Extensive PCB mixed signal design

　　Extensive EMC background

　　Extensive panel design or box build experience

　　NICE TO HAVE: No minimum required skills

　　Basic scripting - for test, for setting up FPGA scripting

　　LINUX familiarity

　　Familiarity in Laser and Optics

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　On day one interfacing with system engineers who architect systems that are in process and you will be working as a liason from the electrical group designing it. You will jump right in and be important and needed. Not 6 months of documentation and reading. Needed to jump right in in a senior capacity figuring out the product on the fly solving technical system problems. Help is needed, couple of junior people that you can mentor, bring up, and multiply your time to learn how to delegate and provide guidance and direction. Make a difference and have a voice.
