The location for this role can be based at one of our locations in either Northern Virginia (Herndon, Sterling, Reston) or Maryland (Jessup, Annapolis Junction). You can expect to spend up to 25% of your time on business travel within the continental United States.
The successful candidate will:
Will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business associated with Bluestone Analytics’ line of technology and services.
Have a strong network of customer contacts and must be familiar with legacy and upcoming programs in law enforcement, DoD and the Intelligence Community
Actively market the Company Brand, establish customer expectations, and shape opportunities by creating white papers, sponsoring in-house demonstrations, and responding to RFIs and similar activities. You will conceptualize the need, organize the correct company participants, assist in developing solutions, and lead the collaboration to completion.
Build and qualify a new business pipeline based on Bluestone Analytics technology and services. Your primary focus is to build/maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with the strategic vision for growth within the law enforcement, IC & DoD market space.
Create, manage, and implement go-to-market plans (to articulate and generate consensus for strategic vision, action plan, competitive intelligence, investments, business case, etc.)
Ability to develop strategic partnerships with relevant companies and technologies. Contribute to building a partnership strategy based on aligned technologies and go to market objectives that support the interests of CACI and partners.
Develop and present milestone briefings to senior management in support of investing in and pursuing strategic opportunities in these markets.
Engage customers in identifying and shaping opportunities. This includes active communication of filtered actionable intelligence back to Sector, BD, and functional group staff.
Support Captures and Proposals to maintain continuity across the BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win as opportunities pass from qualification into capture and then proposal.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Preference is technical discipline.
10+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture, proposal) activities, and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) experience in government sector markets.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency government technical strategy and acquisition plans.
Have a strong network of customer contacts and must be familiar with the customer's major programs and upcoming initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of SaaS sales/business developers in execution of the business development function with minimum supervision and ability to function as an individual contributor
Effective leader/participant in formal presentations to clients and potential teaming partners; proven track record of building winning teams as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven passion for and ability to develop and win work.
Ability to contribute to strategy development, long-range positioning, and execution.
Active Secret Clearance preferred TS/SCI eligibility.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,800-$191,000
