Your Opportunity as Operations Excellence and Continuous Improvement Manager
The Plant Operations Excellence and Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for coaching site pillar leaders and the entire plant organization towards the successful utilization of high performance organizational and continuous improvement tools and adherence. These tools ensure the organization is designed to deliver the site plan through loss elimination and the engagement of all employees. Drives consistent and effective use of pillar tools, effective communication across teams, and reapplication of company best practices and standards. Resident expert on coaching and developing tools and practices. This role will be considered for opportunities to progress along the operations career path. Location: Scottsville, KYReport To: Plant ManagerWork Arrangements: 100% on-site
In this role you will:
Ensure site adherence to master planning cadenceEnsure completion and / or review of site loss analysis action planEnsure completion of organization performance modeling or health assessmentLead internal and external continuous improvement assessments for the siteCoach pillar leaders and department managers to build and execute plans that connects to site planDay to day management of Quality and Safety project engineersCoach pillar owners to build high performance capability at all levels of the organization and ensure standardsHelp to drive strong systems in safety, quality, and reliabilityEnsure rapid lead line reapplication across the siteFunction as (WPI) Work Process Improvement pillar ownerSupport the results management process at all levels of the organizationProvide coaching on how to determine appropriate metric and targets at all levels of the organizationProvide coaching to pillar leads and department managers on the gap analysis process and triggers for responseSupports the plant masterplan and transformation effortsEnsure data driven decision making occurs at all levels of the organization
