Has expert knowledge of the HR concepts, practices, procedures and laws in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Advertise job openings.•Utilize applicant-tracking system to identify and track a qualified pool of applicants.•Conduct pre-screening interviews & provide assessments to optimize quality of hire.•Complete reference and background checks and pre-employment drug testing.•Conduct new employee/non-employee orientations, benefit review and exit interviews.•Partner with Payroll Department to ensure timely and accurate HRIS entries and reporting.•Assure agency policies are administered fairly and consistently.•Assist with HR audit and compliance functions.•Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements.•Assist with completing government and regulatory agency reporting and tasks -EEO-1, OSHA, DOL, ACA, COBRA, etc.•Track data for trend analysis.•Administer and assist with development of employee trainings.•Partner with the Facilities Manager with administering the Driving on Mission Business Program.•Assist with creating, updating and coordinating forms/processes for HR initiatives.•Coordinate packets for new hires, interns, benefit eligible and separated employees.•Maintain and update the departmental bulletin boards with required posters.•Ensure required paperwork, to include but not limited to purchase orders, receipts, invoices, employment documents, etc., are submitted to the appropriate department in a timely manner.•Conduct research for projects.•Observes all safety rules and regulations.•Coordinate safety kits across the campus.•Manage SDS booklets across campus•Responds to employment verifications.•Administers 90 Day and Annual Performance Review process for employees•Responsible for Mission’s random drug screen program administration•Participates on committees.•Assist employees with issues in ADP Workforce Now•Assist employees with issues in HR Training software•Abide by all Mission and program and safety policies, procedures and guidelines.•Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings as requested by your supervisor.•All other duties as requested by your supervisor.
