What You Will Do
Are you a motivated Senior QA Analyst with demonstrated experience identify systemic problems and patterns through data analysis? If so, our Maps group is looking for people like you to join our established and dynamic group.
QA Analysts in this position are responsible for continuously validating core routing logic quality and approving releases to thousands of customers. This position requires focus on identifying systemic problems within the routing logic, writing test plans for new features, executing test plans, and verifying fixes. Most importantly, this position requires a persistent problem finder with desire to: 1) take pride in product quality, 2) work in fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines, 3) keep close attention to the smallest details for all aspects of testing, 4) discover creative and innovative ways to test our products, and 5) regularly work directly with developers and project managers to release great products to our customers.
What Skills & Experience You Should BringBachelor's degree or 3 years of QA experienceExperience using defect tracking tools like JIRA is a plusKnowledge/Experience working with a Geographic Information Systems or in commercial transportation industry is a plusAwareness of world geographyKeen ability to identify systemic problems and patterns through data analysisUnderstanding of software development life cycle processes and quality assurance methodologyDesire to identify processes which can be automated in the interest of efficiency and product qualityExcellent organization skillsStrong problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with playwright/selenium About Our Maps Division
The heart of all our products is the core routing logic, it ensures that our customers can get where they want safely, legally compliant, and on-time. Each new idea, or improvement, made to our product routing needs to be thoroughly analyzed before it can go out the door. With customers in all major regions of the world constantly trying to get an edge, we strive to meet those needs so they always have the most accurate tools at their disposal. Validating core routing quality is an enormous, exciting, and ongoing challenge.
