Process Quality Control Engineer leads and performs quality controls activities of the manufacturing processes.
What you’ll do:
Process Quality Control:
Performing the quality controls and preparing reports for manufacturing processes,
Generating the quality control plans and control instructions,
Managing and working together with a team of technicians,
Collaborate with operational excellence, production, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain and other related functions,
Approving and rejecting products as well as reporting issues.
Quality Improvement:
Leading studies to understand the root cause of internal defects and implement resolution activities,
Leading studies to analyze the root causes of internal scraps, and conducting improvement studies to reduce,
Leading, monitoring and reporting internal CAPA/DÖF studies with related parties,
Contributing process improvement studies for the related process line on-site,
Contributing to A3, PFMEA and 8D studies in the team.
Contributing to internal and external process audits, ISO audits and customer audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree on Mechanical Engineering - Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Electrical
At least 5 years of experience in quality control in automotive business or related/similar technical area
Skills:
Having high level understanding of technical drawings, PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, 8D, A3, Histrogram, Pareto, basic statistics and other core quality tools,
Knowledge of ISO9001
Lean Six Sigma knowledge and/or experience and/or belt certification and Minitab usage is a plus,
Excellent command of English
Positive, proactive, committed.
