　　INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

　　Parker has an opportunity for a Supply Chain student seeking a 2024 Summer Internship at our Aerospace Filtration Division based in Greensboro, NC. The internship will provide training and exposure to supply chain and customer service fundamentals and best practices in a manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Division Supply Chain Manager.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　§ Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and reschedules

　　§ Prepare supplier scorecard and analyze key metrics

　　§ Reporting, data maintenance, and analysis

　　§ Customer Order Entry and status updates

　　§ Interact with engineering, accounting, quality, operations and other functional areas as necessary

　　§ Perform all other related duties as assigned

　　MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

　　§ Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

　　§ Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Operations Management program

　　§ At minimum, a Junior status or higher with 3.0 GPA or higher

　　§ Candidates must be able to obtain local housing to commute daily to the facility

　　§ Must be able to work 30 – 40 hours a week in the summer

　　§ Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities; able to work independently

　　§ Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI)

　　§ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
