You will review and evaluate business processes related to risk identification, assessment, management, and reporting activities for the submission of the annual Capital Plan and the Resolution Plan. As a subject matter expert, you will leverage experience to comply with key Company regulatory objectives. Additionally, you will provide independent review reports to senior management and the Board of Directors. It is critical to partner directly with business lines and/or functions, drive oversight discussions, and play a leadership role in designing and managing independent reviews per plan or on an ad hoc basis as needed.

  How You’ll Do It

The effective challenge process ensures that management understands and agrees with key assumptions and decisions that impact the capital planning submission from economic scenario development, to key assumptions and modeling impacts, to capital payout decisions.

Liaise with business partners across Risk and Finance to review and challenge key assumptions and financial projections, provide effective challenge to CCAR forecast results and analyze key variance drivers between various scenarios.

Undertakes peer analysis of Fed-published CCAR results to ensure consistency and/or identify gaps with industry best practices.

Supports the process for the annual Horizontal Capital Review, Internal Audit Review, Board, and other Committee meetings.

Creates presentations to senior management and the Board on independent review and ongoing monitoring; supports regulatory exams by attending discussions and providing materials and/or responses to requests.
