  Job Description:

  Position Overview:

  Responsible for identifying risk and driving strategies to manage it.

  Liaison to the enterprise-wide Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Risk functions.

  Develops business-unit-specific approaches and ensures accurate and timely implementation across all risk management disciplines and all areas in the organization. Directs process design, controls work flow/systems, reporting, testing, remediation, and third-party management.

  Creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization

  Responsibilities:

  Provides education and monitors employees on requirements of company policies and standards related to Regulatory Risk Management, Regulatory Program Management, Risk Reporting, Operational Risk Events, Root Cause Analysis, and Issues Management.

  Oversees development and implementation of programs, procedures and job aids to facilitate efficient completion of policy and standard requirements

  Develop and deliver regulatory risk and exam management reporting to Senior Leadership

  Oversees timely completion of remediation projects and ensures a detailed escalation plan is in place for risk issues and is leveraged when necessary.

  Maintains a highly engaged, development-focused team.

  Where applicable, develops and executes risk assessments. Provides education and risk guidance to business partners and ensures policies, standards, procedures, risks, and controls are implemented, monitored, and executed as required.

  Ensures changes in laws and regulation are properly embedded into the control environment.

  Ensures effective identification and implementation of controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks.

  Develops efficient processes to maintain an accurate library of risks and controls. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide post-launch oversight of initiatives and reports results to management.

  Oversees timely completion of control design reviews and compliance risk assessments.

  Monitors the risk and control environment for weaknesses and identifies solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of controls.

  Oversees timely completion of complex projects in the areas of Exam Management and Regulatory Risk Management.

  Oversees development, implementation, and administration of control standardization and workflow solutions.

  Oversees development of continuous monitoring for department and business unit regulatory risk and exam management processes/programs.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Arts, Sciences, or related field

  8+ years of experience in general business, or related field

  In lieu of a degree, 15+ years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, regulatory, financial services, marketing, or financial services operations

  Preferred Qualifications

  Prior experience managing global regulatory compliance requirements and initiatives.

  Master's Degree in MBA, IT, Engineering

  Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering

  Compensation:

  The base pay for this position generally ranges between $150,500.00 to $228,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
