Job Summary:
Compass Point is looking for a talented Senior Forfeiture Financial Specialist to add to a dynamic team supporting the law enforcement community. This role provides support to financial services relative to forfeited assets.
Job Responsibilities:
Support nationwide financial initiative that affect financial operations such as audit reading and A-123.
Monitor and analyze the financial operations of assigned districts.
Assist districts by provide guidance relative to complex financial assets and support for preparations for annual audit samples.
Formulate administrate and technical procedures.
Perform complex technical and factual research relative to seized financial and business assets.
Submit monthly reports document the financial status of districts/offices within assigned region.
Provide support in conducting pre-seizure analyses.
Monitor financial report submitted by business subject to restraining/protective orders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
One or more related Professional Certifications such as: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Government Financial Manager
10 years’ direct experience related to accounting auditing, finance or budget administration.
Experience in working with Government accounting systems.
Proficiency in using spreadsheet and word processing software.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects under tight deadlines; work with minimal supervision; and consistently deliver the high level of quality work.
